Narrow Grid Ceilings

The 9/16″ grid ceiling (vs. 15/16″) has begun to appear on our projects. Our experience and feedback from the field is that they are weaker than the standard grid (for obvious reasons), and that devices such as diffusers and grilles (among others) have not yet been created to be supported by the narrow tee. Just a heads-up on your up coming projects.
